We plan your wedding music with you. We'll talk through the songs you love, the ones you'd rather not hear and the moments that matter, then build the day around you and your guests.
You've got enough to organise. Put us in touch with your venue coordinator and we'll agree timings, power and access with them, and send over the insurance and PAT paperwork most venues ask for.
We cover weddings within about 50 miles of Portsmouth, including Southsea, Havant, Chichester, Fareham and Gosport, Emsworth and Hayling and Southampton. We regularly play weddings at Southsea Castle, The Bear Hotel, Hayling Island Sailing Club and The Churchillian, and we'll DJ wherever you've booked.

Every wedding is different, so we don't sell set packages. We work with the two of you to build a package around your day, then send a written quote for exactly that.

How booking your wedding DJ works
From your first message to the last song, this is how it runs.
1. Check your date
Look up your wedding date on our availability page, then send us an enquiry, use the live chat or give us a ring. We'll check the diary and email you a quote, with no obligation.
2. Secure your date
Happy with your quote? Tap the link in it to go ahead and we'll send the deposit details. Once your deposit arrives, we email to confirm your booking.
3. Plan the day
You get your own booking page to add your first dance, must-plays and playlists, and to message us. We agree timings with your venue and send them our insurance and PAT certificates.
4. Enjoy the day
We look after the music from start to finish, read the room and keep the floor busy until the last song.

How we plan your wedding music
It starts with a planning chat and your own online booking page. You tell us your first dance, the songs you can't do without and the ones you never want to hear, and we build every part of the day around that list.
On the night we watch the floor. Older guests get songs they know early on, and as the evening goes on we follow whoever's dancing. Guests can ask for songs too, and we fit them in where they work.

- Are you insured? Yes, with £5m public liability insurance. Most venues ask for proof, and we send it to them.
- Is your kit PAT tested? Yes, and the certificates go to your venue along with the insurance.
- Can we pick the music? Yes. We follow your must-play list and your do-not-play list.
- Will you deal with our venue? Yes. We sort timings, power and access with your coordinator.
- What if there's no power for the ceremony? Our battery PA runs for up to four hours without a plug.

We work alongside a network of trusted local DJs across the area we cover, roughly 50 miles around Portsmouth. If your date shows limited availability, ask anyway and we'll see who can do it.

Do you play during the ceremony and wedding breakfast?
Yes. We can cover the whole day, from your walk-in music at the ceremony to background music during drinks and the wedding breakfast, then the evening party. For outdoor ceremonies or rooms with no power, our battery PA runs for up to four hours.
Can we choose our first dance and must-play songs?
Of course. Send us your first dance, your must-plays and anything you never want to hear, and we'll plan the night around them.
Will you deal with our venue?
Yes. Put us in touch with your venue coordinator and we'll agree timings, access and power with them, and send over our £5m public liability insurance and PAT paperwork.
Do you take requests from guests?
Yes, and we'll fit them in where they work for the dance floor. If you'd rather we stuck to your list, we'll politely tell guests that on your behalf.
How far ahead should we book?
Summer Saturdays get busy first, so check your date as soon as you have it. The availability page shows the availability for each weekend, then send us an enquiry.
What if our date shows limited availability?
Ask anyway. We work with a small network of trusted local DJs, so if we're already booked we'll try to find someone we'd happily recommend. No date is confirmed until you've accepted your quote and your deposit has arrived.
When do we pay the deposit and the balance?
Once you're happy with your quote, we send you an invoice. Paying the deposit on that invoice secures your date. The rest is due before the music starts on the night, and you can pay it by bank transfer at any point beforehand or in cash on the night. If your plans change, you can move your date up to three times. The deposit isn't refundable unless we can't do your event.
How much does a wedding DJ cost in Portsmouth?
We don't have set packages. Every wedding is quoted for you, because it depends on how long you need us, whether we're covering the ceremony and wedding breakfast as well as the evening, and any extras such as the LOVE letters or photo booth. Send us your date, venue and rough timings and we'll come back to you with a price.
Can you DJ an outdoor wedding or a marquee?
Yes. For an outdoor ceremony, our battery PA runs for up to four hours without a plug. For a marquee party we need power close to where we set up, so we'll check that with you or your venue well before the day.
Is lighting included, and do you do uplighting?
Yes. Dance floor lighting comes with your wedding booking, and we set it up for your first dance. You can also add our uplighting, which washes the walls of your room in colour, and our light-up LOVE letters, lit in any colour to match your theme.

Very likely. We regularly DJ weddings at Southsea Castle, The Bear Hotel in Havant, Hayling Island Sailing Club and The Churchillian, and we'll play wherever you've booked. Tell us the venue when you check your date.
