What we do for pubs and bars
ProDJ Portsmouth provides DJs for pubs and bars across Portsmouth and Hampshire: weekly residencies, theme nights, bank holidays, ticketed nights and last-minute cover. We keep the volume right for a pub, bring our own lighting and sound or use yours, and send our insurance and PAT certificates before the first night.
Nights we can run for you
Friday and Saturday nights
A regular DJ to lift the weekend and keep people in for one more round.
Theme nights
80s, 90s, Motown, garage, cheese: tell us the theme and we'll build the set.
Big match and bank holidays
Before or after the game, or a bank holiday party in the beer garden.

Book early for December and New Year's Eve, the busiest nights of the year.
Built for a pub crowd
A pub isn't a nightclub. Early on people want to talk, so we keep the volume where it should be and build as the night goes on. By ten the floor's busy and the singalongs have started.
Beer garden with no power to the far end? Our battery PA runs for up to four hours without a plug.
We'll also run a private party in your function room, so you can offer a DJ to anyone who books it.

One point of contact from the first call to the last song. We plan the music with you, and sort timings, power and paperwork with your venue.
For pubs, clubs and venues
Residencies, one-off nights and cover
Weekly or monthly residencies, one-off nights and last-minute cover, with our own sound and lighting or your house system.
We work alongside a network of trusted local DJs across the area we cover, roughly 50 miles around Portsmouth. If your date shows limited availability, ask anyway and we'll see who can do it.

How loud will it be?
As loud as your room and licence allow. We start low while people are eating and chatting, then build. Tell us about any sound limits and we'll stick to them.
Can you play in a beer garden?
Yes. Our battery PA runs for up to four hours on one charge, so there's no need for a long cable from the bar.
Do you do last-minute cover?
Yes. Call 07872 316391 and, if we're free, we'll be there. If we're already booked, we'll try to find you one of the trusted local DJs we work with.
Can customers book you for parties in our function room?
Yes. Point them to us or to this website, and we'll deal with them directly.
