Weddings, parties and corporate events

One point of contact from the first call to the last song. We plan the music with you, and sort timings, power and paperwork with your venue.

For pubs, clubs and venues

Residencies, one-off nights and cover

Weekly or monthly residencies, one-off nights and last-minute cover, with our own sound and lighting or your house system.

We work alongside a network of trusted local DJs across the area we cover, roughly 50 miles around Portsmouth. If your date shows limited availability, ask anyway and we'll see who can do it.

Booking and prices

How do I check my date?

Use the availability page. It shows the availability for each weekend, then you can send us an enquiry or call 07872 316391 and we'll come back to you. A date isn't booked until you've accepted your quote and your deposit has arrived.

How much does a DJ cost?

It depends on the date, how long you need us, where the venue is and any extras you add. Send us the details and we'll come back with a quote. There's no obligation.

Do I have to pay anything to enquire?

No. Enquiring and getting a quote cost nothing. You only pay a deposit once you're happy with your quote and want to secure your date.

When do I pay the deposit and the balance?

Once you're happy with your quote, we send you an invoice. Paying the deposit on that invoice secures your date. The rest is due before the music starts on the night, and you can pay it by bank transfer at any point beforehand or in cash on the night. If your plans change, you can move your date up to three times. The deposit isn't refundable unless we can't do your event.

What happens once I've booked?

We email to confirm your booking, with a link to your own booking page. There you can see your booking and invoice, fill in the planning form, add your playlists, and message us and your DJ. There's no password to remember.

Can I message you instead of calling?

Yes. Tap Live chat on any page and your message comes straight through to us. If you leave your email and close the page, we'll email our reply too.

How far ahead should I book?

As soon as you have a date. Summer Saturdays and December get busy first, especially for weddings.

What if my date shows limited availability?

Ask anyway. We work with a small network of trusted local DJs, so if we're already booked we'll try to find someone we'd happily recommend.

What areas do you cover?

We're based in Portsmouth and cover Southsea, Havant, Waterlooville, Emsworth, Hayling Island, Fareham, Gosport, Petersfield, Chichester, Southampton and the areas around them, usually within about 50 miles of Portsmouth. If your venue's further away, ask anyway.

Pubs, bars and clubs

Do you supply resident DJs to pubs and bars?

Yes. We run weekly and monthly residencies for pubs, bars and clubs within about 50 miles of Portsmouth, with our own sound and lighting or your house system. See our pubs and clubs page.

Do you run ticketed events?

Yes. We put on ticketed and public nights at venues including The Loft in Southsea and IndulgeX in Portsmouth.

Can you cover if our DJ drops out?

Call 07872 316391. If we're free we'll come and play, and if we're already booked we'll try to find you one of the trusted local DJs we work with.

Music

Can we choose the music?

Yes. Send us your must-plays, anything you never want to hear and the big moments, like a first dance or a birthday song, and we'll plan the night around them.

Do you take requests on the night?

Yes. Guests can ask, and we'll fit requests in where they work for the floor. If you'd rather we stuck to your list, we'll politely tell guests that on your behalf.

What kind of music do you play?

A bit of everything: classics, party anthems, chart, dance, R&B, rock and indie, mixed to suit whoever's on the floor.

On the day

What time do you arrive to set up?

We arrive in plenty of time to set up before you start, and agree exact timings with you and your venue beforehand.

Can you work with a venue's sound limiter?

Yes. Tell us when you book and we'll check the limit with your venue before the day, so the music stays lively without cutting out. Our guide to wedding venue sound limiters explains how they work and what to ask.

Do you provide a microphone for speeches?

Yes. A microphone is available for speeches, awards and announcements.

Can you play somewhere without mains power?

Yes. Our battery-powered PA runs for up to four hours on one charge, which suits outdoor ceremonies, gardens, beaches and marquees.

Will you deal with our venue?

Yes. Put us in touch with your venue coordinator and we'll agree timings, access and power with them directly.

Safety and paperwork

Are you insured?

Yes. We have £5m public liability insurance and can send the certificate to you or your venue.

Is your equipment PAT tested?

Yes. All our kit is PAT tested, and we'll send the paperwork to any venue that asks for it.
