Who we are
ProDJ Portsmouth is a mobile DJ business based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. If you have any questions about your data, email bookings@prodjportsmouth.co.uk or call 07872 316391.
What we collect
When you send a booking request or enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, event date, times, venue, number of guests, any extras you are interested in and anything you write in the message box.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you book, to plan and deliver your event. Our lawful basis is that you have asked us to take steps before entering into a contract, and then the contract itself.
If you book, we also keep a record of the booking and payments because we are required to keep financial records for tax purposes.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored securely in our website (hosted by IONOS) and sent to our business email. Each enquiry is also added to a private Google Sheet we use to manage bookings and keep our accounts, and confirmed bookings are added to our Google Calendar. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else, apart from your venue where you have asked us to deal with them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for six years to meet HMRC record-keeping rules.
Cookies and third parties
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts are hosted on this website. The reviews shown here come from our Google Business Profile, and the award badge is loaded from Three Best Rated, so your browser connects to their server to display it. We count visits with Jetpack Stats from Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com, to see which pages people use.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it, unless we have to keep it by law. Email us and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
